Valeo® TL • Lumbar Spacer

The Valeo TLIF Spacer of silicon nitride offers a dense, hydrophilic construct for load bearing. Its bulleted nose design aids insertion and unique hollow core design accepts autograft. As with all our silicon nitride products, the Valeo TL features excellent imaging compatibility.

The Valeo Spinal Spacer System is made of MC² silicon nitride, a twenty-first century ceramic used in high stress conditions requiring exceptional strength, durability, and reliability. Amedica has patented this technology to create the Valeo Lumbar Spacer, a ceramic implant that is fully-dense, strong, fracture resistant, and hydrophilic.

The TLIF Spacer features both a dense outer ring to replicate the load bearing function of cortical bone and sharp knurls to bite into bone and reduce implant migration. The TLIF Spacer possesses excellent imaging compatibility and is designed with a unique hollow core to accept autograft. As well, it has a wide 30 X 11 mm footprint to distribute load and can be ordered in multiple heights, from 7–17 mm.
